We'll demonstrate how to make an easy way to make a Hexagonal Pen Holder from paper for children's daily use in this blog, which you may display on your desktop. You may put your pens, pencils, and other stationery supplies in this lovely Hexagonal Pen Holder.
Materials Needed:
A4 size colorful paper
A4 size glitter paper
Pencil
Scissors
Glue or double-sided tape
Decorative elements (stickers, markers, etc.)
Instructions:
Step 1: Cut Paper
Take six A4 or other size sheets of paper.
Use the largest square shape you can cut from the paper.
Step 2: Fold Paper
One square of paper should be folded diagonally on both sides, then creased.
Next, fold it in half on each side, followed by four quarters.
Open the folded paper and fold four corners into triangles as shown.
Fold the triangle portions inside and then fold them in half.
Now your piece of paper will look like this in the last picture.
Step 3: Cut Insert
Remember we have A4 size Glitter paper, we need to cut smaller pieces with all papers.
Measure to one side of the rectangle as shown and cut the paper.
Insert the cut portion inside the triangled opening.
Press the portion inside to make a triangle shape.
Now our folded paper will look like the one in the last picture.
Make six pieces like this from all cut papers.
Step 4: Glue Them Together
Take two of the prepared pieces and apply glue on one surface at the back.
Attach another piece with the glued surface, so that the square inserts are visible on the outside.
Glue all pieces together one by one and you will have the completed piece as seen in the last picture.
Step 6: Measure Bottom Piece
Now we need to close one side so that we can use it for keeping a pen and other items in it.
Place the completed piece on card stock and mark the outline and cut the shape from the card stock.
Apply glue on the bottom side edges and place the cut shape on top.
Allow the glue to dry and we have our finished Pen Holder.
Keep your pen, brush, and other stationery items in this attractive box on your desktop.
