  • A4 size Green color paper

  • Any light background Color paper

  • Scissors

  • Pencil

  • Glue stick

How to Make the Paper Marigold Craft

Here are the steps to make a paper fruit marigold craft:

  1. Cut a strip of orange paper about 2 inches wide and 10 inches long. Fold the strip in half lengthwise and cut along the fold to create two pieces.

  2. Take one of the strips and fold it in half widthwise. Cut a small triangle out of the folded edge to create a notch.

  3. Unfold the strip and use the notch as a guide to cut a series of small triangles along both long edges of the paper, leaving about 1/4 inch of space at the bottom uncut.

  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 with the other orange strip.

  5. Take one of the orange strips and roll it up tightly, starting from one end and rolling to the other. This will create the center of your marigold.

  6. Take the other orange strip and wrap it around the rolled-up center, gluing it in place as you go.

  7. Cut a leaf shape out of green paper and glue it to the bottom of the marigold stem.

  8. Repeat steps 5-7 with the remaining orange strip and another leaf shape to create a second marigold.

Your paper petal marigold craft is now complete! You can make multiple marigolds and arrange them in a vase or use them to decorate a room.

Tip: For added dimension, you can use a pair of scissors to curl the edges of the orange strips before gluing them together.
